Common Symptoms of a Failing Flex
If your charging flex is damaged or suffering from wear and tear, you will typically experience one or more of the following issues:
- Intermittent Recharging: The device only charges when the cable is held at a specific angle.
- Complete Power Loss: The phone fails to respond to any charger or PC connection.
- Microphone Failure: People on the other end of a phone call cannot hear you, but speakerphone works (speakerphone often uses a separate top mic).
- Weak Cellular Signal: Dropped calls or weak network bars caused by a damaged antenna terminal on the board.
