Primary Function
This tool is used by microsoldering technicians during a phone’s sandwich-board repair. When a dual-layer motherboard is separated, the old solder must be cleaned off. This stencil allows the technician to precisely apply new solder paste onto the middle layer contact pads (reballing). Heating the paste melts it into uniform solder balls, preparing the two board layers to be safely fused back together.
