Key Specifications & Layout
- Voltage Test Range: Supports high-precision sampling from 0V to 36V DC.
- DC Power Handling: Maximum input/output handling limits up to 36W / 8A.
- Display: A large 4.0-inch IPS HD screen boasting 500-nit sunlight visibility and a 178° viewing angle.
- Form Factor: Features an exposed PCB aesthetic on an adjustable fixed mounting bracket for easy desktop use.
- Power Source: Powered via a standard 5V Type-C port located on the back panel; it will not boot up if connected to a fast-charging block.
Core Diagnostic Features
- Real-Time Waveform Capturing: Tracks millisecond-level transient dynamic voltage or current changes on an active circuit, mapping active data into digital, visual pointer, or real-time curve graphics.
- Ultra-Fast Diode Scanning: Features a rapid 0.01-second response time to seamlessly catch hidden micro-leakage faults across circuits.
- Host PC Synchronization: Built with computer connectivity (via the rear Type-C port), allowing you to sync real-time measurements directly to a desktop screen for live recording, data capture, or teaching demonstrations.
- USB & Type-C Charging Tester: Includes dedicated USB-A and Type-C input/output paths to calculate active charging wattage, real-time power draw, timing logs, and battery cell capacity (mAh/mWh).
Important Limitations to Note
While the manufacturer’s descriptions mention standard multimeter fields, multiple expert review field tests and user logs point out a critical design trait:
- No Direct Resistance Mode: The JTX A9 does not measure pure ohm resistance values. When assessing components, it strictly measures and displays Ground Resistance / Diode circuit values (GR values) rather than pinpointing exact individual component resistance.
