Bit Installation Methods
The tool supports two separate installation configurations depending on the style of grinding or cutting attachment:
- Direct Plug-In Bits (Standard Sanding Heads)
- Line up the straight shaft of the sanding head with the chuck.
- Push the bit straight forward into the pen tip securely until it clicks or locks firmly into place.
- Screw-Locking Bits (Sawbits & Cutting Discs)
- Loosen the tiny screw located at the tip of the mandrels.
- Seat the mini sawbit or polishing disc onto the threaded end.
- Tighten the screw back down firmly using a precision screwdriver.
- Insert the fully assembled mandrel shank straight into the front chuck of the pen.
