Included Bits & Applications
The kit includes six distinct, color-coded screwdrivers or interchangeable bits divided into iPhone-specific and universal repair tools:
- ✪ 0.8 (Pentalobe): Used for removing the two bottom dock screws on Apple iPhones.
- Y 0.6 (Tri-wing): Essential for internal iPhone screws, including the battery connector bracket and display shields.
- + 2.5 (Standoff/Convex Cross): Designed to remove special double-layered motherboard fixing screws found inside iPhones.
- T2 or T5 (Torx): Used for modern Android devices, Huawei, Xiaomi, and laptop hardware casings.
- + 1.2 / + 1.5 (Phillips): The standard crosshead sizes for internal components on almost all Android phones, MacBooks, and general small electronics.
Core Technical Features
- Noise-Reduction Bearings: The top cap of each handle features a smooth, 360-degree rotating swivel cap engineered to rotate quietly and comfortably against your palm.
- Magnesium Silicon Alloy Handle: Built with a lightweight, non-slip textured metal handle to provide maximum ergonomic grip and torque control.
- Magnetic Attraction: The tips are treated with strong magnetism to prevent micro-screws from falling inside the chassis during disassembly.
Basic Operation Guide
- Match the Screw: Inspect the screw head with a magnifying glass to match the correct pattern (e.g., Star, Tri-wing, or Cross). Using an incorrect size will strip the screw.
- Apply Downward Pressure: Place the screwdriver tip into the screw head perfectly vertical. Press down with your palm onto the swivel cap while keeping the tool straight.
- Twist to Unfasten: Rotate counterclockwise to unscrew. The top cap should remain still against your palm while the body of the driver turns.
- Storage: Keep the tips clean. Avoid using these precision tools for heavy-duty household tasks, as the high-hardness steel tips can chip if over-torqued on rusted hardware.
