Core Specifications
- Alloy Composition: 63% Tin (Sn) / 37% Lead (Pb) — a standard eutectic ratio providing high reliability.
- Melting Temperature: Exactly 183°C (361.4°F). Note that when using a hot air rework station, your tool temperature typically needs to be set between 280°C to 300°C to account for heat dissipation.
- Viscosity & Flux: Medium viscosity paste containing an integrated “No-Clean” flux that provides excellent wetting properties and minimizes cold joints.
- Particle Size: Typically 24–45 microns, reducing bridging defects on fine-pitch components.
