How to Use the Mechanic FS-51 for Chip Degumming
- Apply Heat/Solvent: Apply a specialized IC adhesive liquid or heat the target area gently with a hot air rework station to soften the hardened black glue.
- Select the Blade Shape: Mount the appropriate blade profile to your holder based on whether you need a flat scraper for open motherboard pads or a hooked wedge for tight IC boundaries.
